When the love of my life got down on one knee and asked for us to spend the rest of our lives together it was an incredibly romantic event to store in the memory books. Soon after our engagement I created very organized "secret boards" on Pinterest for our wedding planning process... but lets be honest, I've had one or two secret boards already. Of course, I had a board dedicated to my bridal look. I had pinned so many images of hair and makeup styles, dresses, undergarments, shoes, and accessories. There were periodic "cleaning sessions" where I would delete images that were either unrealistic or did not match with the overall theme, except the Harriet Wilde shoes were consistently on the board. When I came across an image of the ivory and gold filigree Harriet Wilde pumps it was love at first sight. It was perfect for my gilded themed wedding! As it got closer to the wedding and I went through my checklist of all that I needed, I knew I had to get serious about choosing my footwear.                  At this point, only the Harriet Wilde heels were pinned on my Pinterest board and it was time to move forward with some research. Were they comfortable? Were they the right height? I have an outdoor/indoor wedding so was it appropriate for both? The reviews I came across were promising and therefore I moved forward with allowing myself to fall a little more in love with the reality of getting a pair of these beauties each time I saw the picture. I contacted Harriet Wilde customer service regarding sizing and comfort and Ruth Shaw was an absolute doll as she provided the needed details and coached me through breaking them in before the big day.                      Once my pair of Bridgette Gold Rose arrived it stirred so much excitement that I had to try them on right away. The shoes were everything Ruth said they'd be and I didn't even need to go the extra mile to stretch them out to reshape it. When it came to the wedding day I was ecstatic for JD and Chris of Steele Photography to work their magic and take amazing pictures of the bridal look details. I knew the shoes would be phenomenal and I did not want to take them off. It was perfect for both my ivory wedding gown and blue/gold Cambodian bridal dress.
