We asked Amy at Crystal Bridal Accessories for her tips and wedding advice.....
Describe what you love about Harriet Wilde’s designs in 3 words....
Unique, innovative, luxury. My favourite style by Harriet Wilde is the Chantilly lace boots – I would pair these with a boho inspired lace dress from the Grace Loves Lace collection.
What tips do you give to your brides when they are buying their wedding shoes?
We always advise brides to try and match the detail in their wedding gown with their shoes for a seamless look – for example ruching if their dress has ruching or crystals if their dress has diamante detail. Luxury shoes are an investment because you can also have most of the styles dyed to a different colour to wear after the wedding day. Also, make sure you get some fab shots of the shoes from your wedding photographer for the wedding album! Think about your accessories early on we stock a variety of hair clips, shoes and bags by designers including , Jennifer Behr and Martine Wester
What tips do you have for brides beginning to shop for their bridal look?
Make a plan…even if it is a very rough one! It’s easy to get confused with all the choices of accessories and dresses so think about the look you are trying to achieve and stick to it.The most popular style of shoes for brides at the moment is peep-toe heels like the Marina Crystal below (exclusive to Crystal Bridal) – whether they are high or kitten heel, brides seem to love this vintage-inspired shoe shape!
What can brides expect when shopping with you?
We offer specialist advice and have years of experience of brides buying wedding shoes – we know about shoe fitting, the best brand options for a specific bride and what styles of shoes will look best with your chosen dress. We are mainly an online business but also have a showroom which is open certain hours – brides can check our website for opening times.
