Shoes for Emma Kingston

We have created a special pair of heels for the actress Emma Kingston who stars as Elphaba in the London musical Wicked.Emma asked us to create a special pair of Arabella Block Bow in black, she invited us to her dressing room at the London Apollo theatre in Victoria to gift her with the shoes.The special shoes were created for Emma to wear at the after show party for the celebration of 20 years of the musical at the Apollo theatre. There was a gala performance, Ruth and Betty (Ruths daughter) attended the show it was incredible, they had an encore and invited the actors from the last 20 years to join the stage. We were lucky enough to meet the comedian Katherine Ryan, she was wearing the most amazing sparkly green gown.Here are the shoes, they are Arabella Block Bow, dyed to black with custom made black organza bows, perfect heels to wear for any red carpet event (or even green!)Here is how we created Emma's shoes, 1. we started with the ivory satin Arabella Block shoes, they are comfortable and look great on the foot. 2. We dyed the satin to black, this is a skilled process with the most magical finish, we can dye to any colour, Emma wanted black to match her stunning sheer black lace dress. 3. After the dye we added a pair of black organza bows to the back on the heels, these were made in the UK and we can make the organza bows in lots of different shades, we charge £50 to create the custom organza bows.
